Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farming

NOTE: Memberships are full for 2008. Please contact us and ask to be put on our mailing list, and we will notify you this fall when we begin accepting signups for the 2009 season.

Now there's a way to improve your health and help preserve our dwindling farmland at the same time. Community Supported Agriculture cuts out the middleman and puts fresh, pesticide-free produce on your table.

Here's how it works: First, become a member by buying a "share" for the growing season. Then each week, from June through October, pick up your produce at the farm (located between Woodinville and Redmond) or at one of our convenient drop sites in Lynnwood or Seattle.

Besides an ample supply of fresh, pesticide-free vegetables, farm members can help themselves to the quarter-acre U-pick flower and herb garden, including lots of basil. And city kids will enjoy exploring the children's garden—touching welcome!

Best of all, The Root Connection farm staff do all of the planting and harvesting. It's all the fun of farming, with none of the work!

You can look forward to meal after meal of mouth-watering produce, including carrots, lettuce, corn, tomatoes, broccoli, spinach, chard, beans, pumpkins, potatoes, summer squash, winter squash, and more. See the harvest schedule for details.

And the cost is about what you'd expect to pay for a similar amount of non-organic produce at your local supermarket.

Costs for the 21-week 2008 growing season are: $41.66 per week ($875) for a Large Share; or $25.57 per week ($537) for a Regular Share.

Please contact us if you have questions or would like more information.

Join the Root Connection Farm and renew your connection with the good earth, good health, and good taste.
